Here is a yummy banana oat dog treats recipe I found online that my dogs love and ideal for puppies! I made these a few days ago and my dogs ate them like they had never been fed before!
Banana Oat Dog Treats Recipe
Dog Treat Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cup Quick Oats
- 3 Tablespoon Oil
- 1 cup Water
- 1-2 bananas
- 2/3 cup Wheat Germ
- 3 Tablespoon Honey
- 2 1/2 Cup Wheat flour
Directions:
- Preheat oven @ 350.
- Mix all ingredients together except Wheat Flour. Add Wheat flour 1/2 cup at a time till dough sticks together but not to your hand
- Roll out dough on flat surface to 1/3 inch thick. Cut Treats with cookie cutters or glass/cup. Remember to keep in mind the size of your pet.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 40-45 minutes. Cookies are done when they slide off the cookie sheet. Let cool.
This dog recipe makes 4 dozen or more depending on size of treats. Treats are perishable so make sure you refrigerate.
